Have you noticed the flyers posted in the hall advertising a cooking Instagram account?

This is Thrifty Cookery! It’s a 20Time Project for Jacob Carlson’s Honors English I class, hosted by Riley Harshbarger, Adisen Lilly and Avery Naylor. This contains cheap and inexpensive meals on their social media account to prove that you don’t need to spend a bunch of money to be healthy. “We chose this topic because it’s very important for your health to eat nice,” Harshbarger said.

The group is hoping to take this project beyond the classroom: “If we get enough followers and are allowed to, we want to host cooking classes at the CM cooking labs,” Harshbarger said.
