Another familiar face that is new to CM is Ashley Wallis. She has come to CM as a special education teacher after working at Trimpe Middle School for a number of years.

Wallis went to college at Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville and Illinois State University, majoring in singing her first two years. She now teaches geometry, Algebra 2, and world history. This will be her 22nd year teaching.

She and her husband,Jeff, have two children: Ella and Jackson. She enjoys watching her kids play sports and singing in her free time. So far, Wallis’ favorite part of CM has been the positive and welcoming atmosphere.
