Student Council is collecting socks for ‘Socktober’ as their first quarter service project and need your help reaching their goal of 200 pairs. Socktober is a project helping homeless and less fortunate people, making sure they have socks. Donations will be going to Community Hope Center which, while not a homeless shelter, does have a room for socks and underwear. We only have until October 31st to get the goal reached so it’s important for those who can to donate. A basket for collecting these socks is located in the commons and everyone that donates will receive a coupon for a free cookie at the corner café.
