CM gears up for Thanksgiving

Family, friends, football, and most importantly FOOD! Thanksgiving is arriving very soon as Students and staff get ready for all the festivities. Turkey Day also introduces black Friday shopping.

Students are gearing up for the festivities.

Milla Munsh (9th) stated, “I am most likely going to my one of my parents for Thanksgiving this year. I am very excited for all the food!”

Food is a big part of the holiday, but shopping is another big tradition for some.

Makenna Weihmeir (9th) said, “I am planning on going shopping with my family and getting some new clothes! I am also excited for the food.”

Trips to grandparents’ homes are definitely on the agenda: “I’m going to my grammies thanksgiving at Our Lady Queen Of Peace gym and then later go to my grandmas for a second thanksgiving dinner,” said Adisen Lilly.

Olivia Phelan said, “I’m going to hangout with family and see my cousins.”

Lastly, football is one major event that many partake in. Jacob Flowers and Parker Parnell are ready for the Thanksgiving games. They both said that they love turkey and they are rooting for their teams!
